To what extent do we work to make China Night possible?
  • For the past three years, China Night has had over 700 attendees. Just last year, Chinese Club and has received a proclamation from the mayor's office on behalf of the WW-P Township.

  • We work with students, the school administration, the Chinese language department, local businesses, and more to pull off a successful and lively China Night.

  • Within Chinese club, we have many "departments" such as the decoration committee, advertisement committee, our hip hop dance crews, singing, etc.

  • Act leaders and club members pour in countless hours practicing or working after school. All their efforts are greatly appreciated!

  • Join us for fun and relaxation, or join us if you also support promoting diversity in WW-P!

China Night Acts

Dragon Dance

Dragons are auspicious animals in the Chinese culture, symbolizing power, strength, and good luck.  In the dance, there is usually a drummer performing with the dragon to help the dancers stay in rhythm, as well as to frighten and scare away evil spirits. Here at Chinese Club, the act members use their strength and flexibility to portray a dragon’s movements, bringing joy and delight to everyone in the audience.
